Use this option to transfer the raw material items to finished assembled items as per the original works order. Micronet posts the manufactured quantity of the kit item to stock and consumes the component quantities.
You can post a completed works order where all items on the works order have been manufactured and are ready to be posted to stock. The works order is then deleted from Micronet.
Alternatively, you can post a partial quantity if some items on the works order have been manufactured and are ready to be posted to stock, but there are still other items that have not yet been made. In this case, the works order remains available for recall and editing.
To post completed items to stock:
Refer to "Works Order Overview" for the steps involved.
Refer to "Works Order Creation - Edit - Complete All".
Refer to "Works Order Creation - Edit - Ask All".
In this case, you should complete the following fields on the Enter WorksOrder Line screen:
|
Field |
Value |
|
Quantity to Make |
Enter the quantity of the item to be posted to stock. This can be less than the Ordered quantity. When the completed items are posted to stock, Micronet updates the Quantity Made with the quantity you enter here. As long as you don't select to complete the line (see the Complete field below), the item remains on the works order for later manufacture and completion. |
|
Complete |
Leave this field set to No when you are posting a partial quantity of the item to stock, and you still want to post the remainder at a later time. You should only change this field to Complete This Line when you don’t want to manufacture any more of this item. When this field is set to Complete This Line and you post the completed items to stock, the item line can no longer be edited. If all items on the works order are flagged as completed, Micronet deletes the entire works order |
For more information about the fields on the Enter WorksOrder Line screen, refer to "Entering Works Order Lines".
Micronet posts the completed items to stock. This includes all items where the Complete field was set to Complete This Line, as well as any items where the ordered quantity has been completely made. If all items on the works order were flagged as complete, Micronet deletes the works order.
If some items on the works order were flagged as complete but there are still some items remaining to be manufactured and completed, you can recall the works order. The completed lines can be viewed but no longer edited, while the uncompleted lines can be edited.
